(MS) - Your paint job looks great for a while after it is completed, but as time goes on dings or chips can be common. However, dragging out an entire gallon of paint for small touch-ups is a hassle. Instead, purchase small plastic bottles with screw caps at a dollar store or some other store. Ladle in some of the paint color you've used and label with the room or trim to which it is applicable (e.g. living room molding). Should a touch-up be necessary over time, simply retrieve the small container and use an inexpensive art paintbrush from a craft store to dab some concealing color. If shut tightly, these containers may keep paint for 2 to 6 months.
